Regulation of the cardiac sodium channel Nav1.5 by 14-3-3
The cardiac sodium channel Nav1.5 is responsible for the upstroke of the cardiac action potential. It is implicated in numerous cardiac diseases and it is regulated by several regulatory proteins. One of these interacting proteins is 14-3-3. In this seminar, we will cover the impact of 14-3-3 in regulating the cardiac sodium channel function.
